Are you or someone you know worried about the negative images of women and girls, including stereotypes of them?

With box office hits like Wonder Woman, Hidden Figures and Marvel's new movie Black Panther, the positive imagery of women in these epic films leave millions of people talking about how impactful and inspirational it is to watch! The powerful imagery of the all-women Wakandan military, Dora Milage, who were tasked to protect King T'Challa in Black Panther left many people wanting to see more. So will this continue?

Is there any progress made in how women are portrayed? Do you wonder what can be done to promote images of women in media without demeaning them? If so, we invite you to come and hear from two women who have established their careers in television and have a lot to say about their experiences as women in media.
